About

autoclicker-mac.com is an editorial download portal and guide resource for Auto Clicker on macOS. The site is run by Tyler Brennan, a longtime Mac power user based in Austin, Texas, who has tested every major Mac auto clicker from macOS Big Sur through Sequoia.

Who runs this site

Tyler Brennan writes every guide on this site. He has been a Mac user since 2011 and an enthusiastic automation hobbyist since 2018. The benchmarks, install walkthroughs, and troubleshooting playbooks are based on his own first-hand testing across multiple Macs (M3 Pro 14″, M2 MacBook Air, M1 Mac mini, and a 16″ Intel i7 MacBook Pro). When something works on these machines we say so. When something fails, we say that too.

Editorial policy

  • Honest negatives. Every guide names trade-offs and limitations. If a tool is rough, we say so.
  • Real version numbers. We publish exact macOS versions, app versions, and dates so readers know what was tested.
  • First-hand testing. Every recommendation is based on running the tool ourselves, not paraphrased from docs.
  • Verified downloads. The download we host is byte-for-byte mirrored from the upstream GitHub release with public hashes.
  • No bundled installers. Clean .zip files, no adware, no toolbar bundles, no email signups.
  • No paid placement. We do not accept payment for recommendations. Affiliate links are disclosed where applicable.

How we verify downloads

The Mahdi Bchatnia Autoclick v2.0.4 build hosted on this site is mirrored byte-for-byte from the official GitHub release at github.com/inket/Autoclick/releases. We verify the SHA-256 hash of the mirrored zip against the upstream release every time we refresh. The binary is GPL-2.0 open-source, signed by the developer, and scans clean across 60+ engines on VirusTotal as of May 2026.

You can verify the download yourself: run shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/autoclick.zip in Terminal and compare against the GitHub release hash. The full security review is at Is Auto Clicker for Mac Safe?.

Contact

For corrections, takedown requests, or feedback, use the Contact page. We aim to reply within 7 business days. We do not provide one-on-one tech support for the auto clicker itself; the open-source projects we mirror have their own GitHub issue trackers for that purpose.

Site stack

This site runs on WordPress with the GeneratePress theme and Yoast SEO. Hosting is on Hetzner Cloud. The download files are mirrored from upstream GitHub releases. We do not collect personal information beyond standard server logs (anonymized after 30 days). Full details in our Privacy Policy and EULA.
